The SkySync license will not transfer between different MAC addresses

SkySync Licenses Are Attached to the Machine's MAC Address

If you are finding that your Skysync license is not working on the same device as it was before, it could be because you are using a different MAC address then the one you were on before when you initially set up SkySync. 

This could also be the case if you are switching from a wired connection to wireless; depending on how the devices are set up, there might be a different MAC addresses between them.
